Akalakunnam Agro Farmers Producer Company is more than just an organization; it is a movement for Rural Economic Empowerment, Sustainability, and Prosperity. Our foundation is built on a well-reputed and widely accepted International NGO named Kisan Service Society (KSS), spread across ten countries, twelve states, and 257 panchayats in Kerala. We started our activities in Akalakunnam Panchayat in September 2023, and within one year we conducted 45 programs for farmers, women, students, youth, and senior citizens. As an appreciation of our performance, at the 4th National Meeting of KSS held in Kanyakumari, we were honored with the Best Unit Award of the Year. In August 2024, to expand our operations, we formed an SHG, and later in March 2025, to address social requirements more effectively, we registered with the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, as a Limited Liability Company – Akalakunnam Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited.
Built by farmers, for farmers, this dynamic enterprise unites cultivators to create collective strength that drives agricultural growth, fair trade, and rural development. The company is managed by a group of experienced and enthusiastic professionals with excellence, especially in agriculture and allied activities. It aims to effectively execute smart farming, digital marketing, and waste management to make Rural Economic Empowerment possible.
